Fantastic $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company throughout their history, the complete package carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. Primary Feature

The big draw is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Package Levels

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the annual collection from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation though the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.
