England's Coach Southee Uncertain on The Ashes Availability

England's fast-bowling advisor Tim Southee is currently evaluating the extent of his role will be during the upcoming Ashes series in Australia.
The ex- Kiwi pace bowler is only likely to be available for the first Test due to his involvement in the International League T20 tournament, which begins on 2 December in the UAE.
Southee, 36, assumed a position as the English team's pace bowling advisor in the summer after taking 391 scalps in 107 Tests for New Zealand.
Speaking as the English squad for the opening of three T20 matches against the Kiwis was named, Southee stated of his participation: "We're still working through the situation at the moment.
"We will determine what happens over the next little while."
England bowling legend Broad had declared the Australian side as their "worst team since 2010", but the consultant was in little doubt over the anticipated challenge during the contest, which starts on November 21.
"In my view there's ever a poor Australian cricket team," he said.
"The team's attention is squarely on our own objectives. In my opinion the quality of [England's] side that's heading out to Australia is excellent.
"It should be an absolute cracker, the Ashes. Not only [are|do] English and Australian people eagerly anticipate it, I think the entire cricketing community is."
However, before England travel to the city of Perth for the opening Ashes Test, they face New Zealand in the city of Christchurch on Saturday.
